WEST TERRE HAUTE, IND. (WTHI) - The WIC conference wrestling meet took place at West Vigo Saturday.
During the 138 pounders semi finals, Tanner Waldrop got the pin for south vermillion.
For the 145 weight class, Jacob Crease represented the host Vikings. He won his semi final match with a 5-3 decision and went on to take the 145 pound title this afternoon.
Two standout football players, Jesse Miller and Dakota Short fought for the 195 pound title. Miller got the better end of the battle pinning Short. He went on to take the title.
The Heavyweight Division, Justin Sampson, keeps his undefeated season alive. He picks up the pin the semi finals and wins the conference crown.
Sullivan takes the team title at the WIC wrestling meet. Northview comes in second at the conference.
