TH Rex clinch playoff spot

Terre Haute, Ind.(WTHI) - The Terre Haute Rex knocked off Springfield 15-5 Wednesday night. With the Rex win and Dubois County beating Quincy, the Rex won the second half of Prospect League West Division to clinch a playoff spot for the second year in a row.

The Rex will play at Dubois County on August 7th in a one-game playoff. If the Rex win, they would then advance on to the best-of-three Prospect League championship series. With the West Division winning the Prospect League All-Star game, the Rex - if they made the championship series - would get to host games two and three of that series.
