Robinson wins the Class 2A State Championship

PEORIA, Ill. (WTHI) - The Robinson Maroons Men's Basketball team won the Class 2A State Championship on Saturday night.
The Maroons beat the hometown team, and #2 ranked team, Peoria Manual by the score 76 to 68 in overtime.
Last night the Maroons defeated the #1 ranked team Hales Franciscan (Chicago) by the score 64 to 61 to advance to the State Finals.
This is the first State Championship for the Robinson Maroons.
