TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Terre Haute South beat Bloomfield 61-44 to win the Consolation Bracket on Friday.
The Braves lost to Terre Haute North (who has advanced to the championship game) in the first round of the tournament by only four points and then went on a 3-game streak where they won by double-digits in every game.
Terre Haute South broke two tournament records in their game against Turkey Run in the tournament. They broke the record for most points in a game, with 94, as well as most points scored in a quarter. They scored 32 points in the first quarter against the Warriors.
The Braves were led in scoring by Jeffrey Turner with 21 points. Lucas Steward also had 14 points for the Braves.
The Cardinals were led by Ben Hays' 18 points.
