TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - It’s the final day of the Wabash Valley Classic at Terre Haute South today. This last day has plenty of exciting match-ups.
The first game of the day has Rockville taking on Shakamak in the consolation bracket finals at 3:30 p.m. Rockville upset host Terre Haute South yesterday to advance to the finals of the consolation bracket. Shakamak beat Greene County rival Bloomfield to advance.
In the fourth place game, Marshall will face Linton at 5 p.m. Linton lost to Casey-Westfield earlier in the tournament in double overtime, for one of the most exciting games in this year’s tournament. Marshall lost to Terre Haute North in the second round and beat West Vigo on the third day.
The third place game will be an exciting match-up with the 2009 Classic winners, Sullivan, playing Casey-Westfield at 6:30 p.m. Sullivan lost on day three to Terre Haute North while Casey-Westfield lost to Northview.
And finally, the championship game will have Terre Haute North and Northview. Terre Haute North and Northview played each other earlier in the year with Terre Haute North winning easily 58-40. That game will be played at 8 p.m.
