MVC honors John Mascari

Terre Haute, Ind.(WTHI) - ST. LOUIS – Indiana State freshman John Mascari was named the Missouri Valley Conference Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Year the league office announced Tuesday.
Mascari became the first member of the Indiana State men’s cross country team to win the individual conference championship when he finished first at the MVC Championships Saturday in Normal, Ill., with a time of 24:21 for the ,000 meter race.
