Terre Haute, Ind.(WTHI) - Late Sunday night the Indiana State men's basketball program picked up a big recruit, when Greensburg guard Bryant McIntosh verbally committed to the Sycamores. McIntosh is regarded as one of the top juniors in the state of Indiana.
The 6'3" point guard is averaging about 17 points a game this season for 11-0 Greensburg, who is ranked number one in Class 3A.
When Sports 10 spoke with McIntosh it was evident his relation with head coach Greg Lansing made the difference in ISU landing him. "About as honest as you get," said McIntosh about coach Lansing. I have a great relationship with coach, he did most of my recruiting."
The Greensburg guard told Sports 10 he is best with the ball in his hands creating for his teammates and himself. McIntosh said he has a high basketball IQ.
McIntosh also said he has followed the Sycamores very closely the last couple of years and been impressed with the way ISU has been able to compete with some high level teams.
