ISU hires Sanford as football coach

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Sports 10 has learned Indiana State has hired Mike Sanford to be the school’s new football coach.

Most recently Sanford worked as the Assistant Head Coach at Utah State. Sanford was the Head Coach at UNLV from 2005-2009, then the offensive coordinator at Louisville for two season before going to Utah State.

Mike Sanford played at USC from 1973-1976.
