TERRE HAUTE, Ind (WTHI) - Indiana State wide receiver Donald Spencer suffered a broken right foot Saturday in the Sycamores win at number one ranked North Dakota State. ISU head coach Trent Miles confirmed to Sports 10 Wednesday that Spencer will have surgery on his broken foot Thursday and will miss the rest of the regular season. Spencer might be able to play again this season, if ISU could make the playoffs. Coach Miles said Spencer is expected to be out of action six to eight weeks.

Spencer led ISU with five catches and 51 yards in Saturday's upset win over North Dakota State.  For the season, the ISU junior is tops on the team in catches and is second in receiving yards.
