Terre Haute, Ind.(WTHI) - Sports 10 has learned that former Terre Haute North and Indiana Mister baseball Josh Phegley has been promoted to Double-A Birmingham. Phegley has missed more than two months of the baseball season because of I-T-P Syndrome, that was a blood disorder that caused his body to have low platelet counts. Phegley is healthy now and in the last 10 games for Winston-Salem he hitting .382 with three homers and 8 runs batted in. In 25 games this season with Winston-Salem Phegley is hitting .292 with three homers and 12 RBI's.
The Chicago White Sox drafted Phegley in the first round of the Major League Baseball draft in 2009.
