Terre Haute, Ind.(WTHI) - Tuesday night two of the top Indiana high school girls basketball teams in the Wabash Valley opened their season's against each other. Class 2A, fourth-ranked Sullivan knocked off Class A, sixth ranked Riverton Parke 48-45. The Lady Golden Arrows ended the game on a 9-0 run. Sullivan senior Jaleigh Gilham hit the go-ahead three with just over a minute to play.
Sullivan senior and Indiana State recruit Rhagen Smith scored a career-high 33 points in the win. In the loss, Riverton Parke senior and Evansville recruit Sara Dickey scored 25.
