TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Connor Sorrells came down the stretch ahead of the field to win the IHSAA Cross Country State Championship at LaVerne Gibson Cross Country Course Saturday.

Terre Haute South standout Jackson Bertolli came in fourth to pace the Braves to an 8th place finish as a team.

Jessi Conley was the top finisher in the area in the girls race, she led Terre Haute North to a 12th place finish.
