TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The Indiana football sectionals are behind us in the Wabash Valley, and two local teams remain as sectional champions.

The Linton Miners continue their dominant season and quest for a state championship. Linton beat North Daviess 48-6 for the sectional win. Linton now travels to West Washington for regional play against the 9-3 Senators. Linton moved to 12-0 on the year.

On the other side of the bracket North Vermillion beat Attica 27-7. Cody Zumwalt led the Falcons with 256 yards on the ground. North Vermillion plays regionals at home. The Falcons put their undefeated record on the line against traditional powerhouse Indianapolis Scecina. The Crusaders are 9-3 on the season. They are coming off a state runner up finish last season. The Crusaders knocked off Linton in the semi-state before losing in the state title game to Lafayette Central Catholic.
