Marshall picks up conference win

MARSHALL, Ill. (WTHI) - In high school girl’s basketball action, Marshal and Newton met in the Little Illini Conference Tournament Championship game.

Kaydie Grooms led the Lions with 21 points.

Marshall wins 51-40. This is their second straight LIC Tournament Championship.
