Loogootee win 3rd straight sectional

ODON, Ind. (WTHI) - Loogootee softball won their third straight sectional championship Tuesday night at the North Daviess Sectional.

The Lions knocked off their rivals, the Barr-Reeve Vikings.

Barr-Reeve scored first with a run in the 3rd inning, but Loogootee came right back to score 4 in the bottom of the inning to take the lead. They tacked on 2 more in the 6th for some insurance and went on to win the title 6-2.
