Terre Haute, Ind.(WTHI) - Ever since he was  a little kid football has been a big part of Kelly Davison's life. Davison played football through his senior year at Washington High School, but when he graduated in 2004 life took him in a different direction.

In October 2004 Davison joined the Marines going overseas three times. After five years with the Marines Davison returned home to Washington. He went to Vincennes University, competed one year on the track team at VU as a thrower, but he wanted more out of life. Kelly chased his dream to Florida, he spent one year at Valencia Community College in Orlando. Then this past August he enrolled at the University of Central Florida. Knowing the Knights had a football team he pursued his ultimate goal of playing at the division one level.

University of Central Florida head football coach George O'Leary is giving Kelly Davison a chance as a offensive lineman for the Knights. The ex-marine is now a 26-year old division one walk-on for the University of Central Florida football team.
