Derek Hannahs follows dad's footsteps

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.(WTHI) - Robinson boys basketball player Derek Hannahs has always looked up to his dad in athletics and why not! Derek's dad Mitch Hannahs was a high school basketball and baseball star. At college, Mitch was a three-time All Missouri Valley Conference selection at Indiana State and following his senior season Hannahs was named an All-American.

The younger Hannahs is pretty athletic, he is a key part of the Maroons state finals basketball team. This past Novemeber he signed to play college baseball at Ball State.
