TERRE HAUTE, Ind.(WTHI) - Saturday the Terre Haute North boys soccer team will face Vincennes Lincoln in the sectional championship. Over the years the Patriots have won a bunch of sectional titles. However, if North was to win this year there is no doubt it would be extra special after everything the team has had to deal with the last two weeks with the sudden and tragic passing of their teammate Cam Taylor.
Despite being born with physical disabilities Taylor played soccer his whole life, including four years at Terre Haute North. As a senior Cam who was a manager for the Patriots. 15 days ago on senior night he was able to play a few minutes against Sullivan. Five days after his big day, Taylor has a seizure and passed away in his sleep.
