Friday night, history was made in Illinois high school girl’s basketball.

Mount Carmel and IU recruit Tyra Buss scored 39 points in a 73-43 win over Harrisburg.

In the victory Buss went over 3,000 points in her career, the junior is the fastest to reach mark in Illinois history.
