TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The Wabash Valley Football Coaches Association all-star game started and ended in style on Saturday afternoon.

Black Division led the way putting points on the scoreboard in the first quarter with a touchdown by a quick QB sneak from Marshall’s Jacob Duncan, followed by a second touchdown from a great pass to Marshall’s Taylor Sanders, which put the score at 14-0.

It wasn’t until the second quarter, after Gold Division was down 21-0 when North Putnam QB Kolten Everts ran into the end zone to help the score to 21-7.

The Gold Division team brought the win within reach late in the game; however, Black Division’s Gary Secuskie from Riverton Parke had a game-winning interception at Black’s own 12-yard-line with under 15 seconds to play to seal victory.
