WASHINGTON, Ind. (WTHI) - It did not take long for the state's single season goals scored leader to make his presence felt at the Washington Regional.
Twenty eight seconds in Ramirez found the back of the net to give the Alices a 1-0 advantage. That's how the score would stay until thirty four second remained in the ballgame when Evansville Memorial tied the game to send it to overtime.
In the second extra frame Memorial scored again and the Alices didn't have an answer. Their season ends with a 2-1 overtime loss to second ranked Evansville Memorial.
