TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Terre Haute South senior quarterback Danny Etling has been selected to play in the 2012 national Offense-Defense All-American Bowl. This game highlights the nation’s top high-school seniors.
This past season at South, the Purdue commit threw for 1,505 yards and 11 touchdowns. Etling also ran for two scores.
Etling will take part in this years Offense-Defense All-American Bowl game in Texas on December 30th, at Reliant Stadium, which is home to the Houston Texans.The game will be broadcast on Fox Sports. Back in 2007 current Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton played in this event, winning MVP of the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl.
