Marriage proposal on Colts field

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - It's a trip to the Lucas Oil Stadium that changed a couple of Colts fan's lives, but it didn't have anything to do with the Colts players.

Jessica McKinley is a senior at Rose-Hulman. Her boyfriend, Kevin Beals, graduated from there and is now working in Dallas.

They are both Colts fans and while he was back in Indiana last week, he asked Jessica if she would want to go on a tour of the stadium with him.

When she arrived at Lucas Oil Stadium, she found Kevin on the middle of the field in a suit and tie.

To her surprise, he proposed to her right there on the Colts 50 yard line.

"I had no idea at all," McKinley said. "It was a complete shock. For about 45 minutes afterwords I couldn't say a thing, except for yes of course I will marry you!"

Jessica says she now has to work on getting a job in Dallas so she can be near Kevin.
