The Indianapolis Colts are gearing up for the New England Patriots.

Colts President Bill Polian gave Colts fans some inside scoop Wednesday night on who opponents see as the Colts’ biggest weapon. While taping the Bill Polian Show, the Colts president said when opposing teams are making their game plan on the Colts, Dallas Clark is never ignored.

"He's playing to the same level actually that he has played in years past,” said Polian. “Most of our opponents consistently say when you asked them in the off season 'What do you have to do to beat the Colts?' They always say 'The guy that we have to stop is Dallas Clark.' It's a shame he hasn't made the Pro Bowl yet but I expect this year may be the year.”

Clark, who is a WISH-TV Sportslocker analyst, was named this week’s AFC Offensive Player of the Week. Clark caught 14 passes in the Colts' 20-17 win over Houston on Sunday, tying a franchise record.

Clark has had an incredible first half of the season. Sixty catches leads the AFC and is second in the NFL. He's also some 16 grabs ahead of all other NFL tight ends.

Remarkable numbers, knowing that he set the franchise record for catches by a tight end last season with 77. Even if his pace slows down a bit, he is well on his way to his first Pro Bowl appearance.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick has game planned to take Clark away from the Colts offense, even putting a defensive back on him to match his speed, showing just how valuable Clark is to the Colts offense.
