INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WISH) - The Colts’ pre-season will include a visit by the national champion Green Bay Packers.

The game on Aug. 26 will be nationally televised – making this the ninth consecutive year a Colts pre-season game is among those televised. The game will be broadcast by CBS Sports, and will mark Green Bay’s first visit to Indianapolis for the pre-season since 1996. The teams last met in league play in Indianapolis during the 2004 season.

Indianapolis opens the pre-season on the weekend of Aug. 11-15 with a trip to the St. Louis Rams. The Colts will then host Washington the weekend of Aug. 18-22, then Green Bay the next weekend. The team rounds out the pre-season with a visit to Cincinnati on the weekend of September 1-3. This will be the 10th time in 11 years that the Colts and Bengals will meet the week before the regular season.

Indianapolis ended the 2000-09 decade with 115 regular-season victories, the highest decade victory total in NFL history, the Colts said. From 2003-09, the Colts set the NFL standard for the most consecutive seasons with 12+ victories. Indianapolis continued its success last season with a 10-6 regular-season record, its ninth straight year with 10+ victories, the second-longest NFL streak. The club produced its ninth consecutive playoff berth, tying the league’s longest post-season streak
