Rose-Hulman wins 11th straight

Terre Haute, Ind.(WTHI) - TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology improved to 13-1 overall, 7-0 in league play and extended its winning streak to 11 games in a 69-40 win over Anderson University on Wednesday night.

 

Senior Austin Weatherford (Cicero/Hamilton Heights) highlighted the evening by crossing the 1,000-point mark in his career with seven points.  Weatherford has now scored 1,004 points in his Fightin' Engineer career and became the 28th member of Rose-Hulman's 1,000-point club.

 

Rose-Hulman improved to 13-1 for the first time in school history and the team's 11-game winning streak ranks third in the 100-plus year history of Fightin' Engineer men's basketball.
