SAINT MARY OF THE WOODS, Ind. (WTHI) - A local college is looking to add a new place for athletes and non-athletes alike to workout.

Saint Mary of the Woods College is planning to build a multi-million dollar facility on campus grounds, which will provide students with an even deeper college experience.

The $11 million complex will hold two gymnasiums, a fitness center and locker rooms.

SMWC held a banquet October 12, and announced their intentions for the addition and raise money and support from the community.

School President Dottie King said while the facility will help athletes, it will also benefit more non-athletes in the future.
