Indiana State baseball keeps churning players into the professional ranks.
One of the former Sycamores scattered about the minor leagues is starting pitcher Colin Rea.
The Padres drafted Rea in the 12 th round of the 2011 Amateur Draft. Now, he’s playing for their Single A Organization: the Fort Wayne Tincaps.
He’s appeared in 22 games this season, ten of those were starts and Rea carries a 3.23 ERA.
As he continues his journey towards the big leagues, Rea works to get better with every outing.
