SPEEDWAY, Indiana (WISH) - The Indianapolis Motor Speedway will be alive Thursday with the sounds of sports cars.
The Grand-Am Road Racing series will conduct a compatibility test on the IMS road course Thursday, Sept. 3.
Sports cars from the Daytona Prototype and GT classes are scheduled to participate in two sessions, from 10 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m.
The test is seen as a possible precursor to an endurance race at the Brickyard.
