Pence, lawmakers have prayer event

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - - Indiana Gov. Mike Pence and several members of the Indiana General Assembly will join political, business and civic leaders for the Indiana Leadership Prayer Breakfast.

Pence will introduce South Carolina lawyer and media personality Curtis Bostic as the featured speaker at Tuesday morning's event at the Indiana Roof Ballroom near the Statehouse. Bostic chairs a group called Remember the Persecuted Church, which calls attention to the sufferings of Christians who are persecuted in foreign lands.

The purpose of the prayer breakfast is to pray for and with state leaders and the people they serve.
