TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Indiana's Democratic senate candidate Joe Donnelly made a stop in Terre Haute today.
Donnelly addressed the continued fallout from his opponent Richard Mourdock's stance on abortion.

10 days are all that's left of the 2012 General election. That’s 10 more days for Republican Richard Mourdock and Democrat Joe Donnelly to woo Hoosier voters.

Just one day after Mourdock made a stop in our newsroom, Donnelly dropped by St. Ann's Health clinic in Terre Haute to tour the facilities.

He commended the clinic on their work with at risk families. But even there, the aftershocks of his opponent’s comments from Tuesday's debate continued to be a point of discussion.

He says he felt the words did damage to victims.

"I thought the comments were hurtful, to women, to survivors of rape, and to their families. And I had thought that Mr. Mourdock after some reflection might as well, he has chosen not to,” Donnelly said.

But that's all Donnelly would say.

Quickly the tour turned back to St. Ann's facility's progress in bringing healthcare to the less fortunate.
