County-wide registration day set for Vigo County

VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - A county-wide registration day set aside for Vigo County voters.

Saturday, September 29, 2012, the League of Women Voters will be staged at 18 locations across Vigo County.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., volunteers will register voters for the upcoming General Election.

A complete list of locations is listed below.

  • Apple House: 2711 U.S. Hwy 41 in Terre Haute
  • Baesler’s Market: 2900 Poplar St. in Terre Haute
  • Big Lots: 1800 Ft. Harrison Rd. in Terre Haute
  • Books A Million: 3370 S. U.S. Hwy 41 in Terre Haute
  • Terre Haute Children’s Museum: 8th and Wabash Ave. in Terre Haute
  • Dollar General: 9 Southland Shopping
  •                                 7 Meadows Shopping
  • Family Video: 2503 Ft. Harrison Rd. in Terre Haute
  • Goodwill Industries: 2702 S. 3rd St. in Terre Haute
  •                                         600 S. 3rd St. in Terre Haute
  •                                         2645 Wabash Ave. in Terre Haute
  • IGA: 1000 National Ave. in West Terre Haute
  • K-Mart: 4651 U.S. Hwy 41 in Terre Haute
  • Vigo County Public Library: 1 Library Sq. in Terre Haute

The last day to register to vote in the State of Indiana is October 9, 2012.

This year's General Election is set for Tuesday, November 6, 2012.
