TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A Terre Haute woman could not leave her home for five months until today.

Judy Sendmeyer is confined to a wheel chair. She said she was desperate to find a ramp so she could safely leave her house.

Several Rose-Hulman fraternity brothers came to the rescue. They installed a wheel-chair ramp at Judy's house as part of community service project.

"I think all the guys that come out to help, they like the aspect of helping people, and making an impact on people," Rose Hulman student Alex Kline said.

"And I'm really really thankful. I really am," Sendmeyer said.

It took the brothers of Pi Kappa Alpha only a few hours to install the ramp.
