TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Christmas trees will serve as a solemn reminder at a candlelight vigil this weekend.
The 6th annual Coda Candlelight Vigil and Christmas tree lighting ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
It will be held on the south side of the Terre Haute City Hall.
"We have two Christmas trees that we will set up," said organizer Doreena Javins. "One's for victims of crimes and missing persons. The other one is for the military. Everyone's invited to bring out an ornament and place on the tree."
The vigil honors victims of crime, missing persons and those in the military.
