TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - You've heard numbers about unemployment, but a recent study shows more than 10 million people across the U.S. are underemployed.
People are considered underemployed if they are overqualified for a position, or forced to work a part-time position when that person wants to be working overtime.
People like Jerry White have been out of college for years and have had to find work outside their fields.
Meanwhile, current students are doing what they can to make sure they are prepared to get a job when they graduate.
Counselors said many times jobs are available after college. However, they may not be in the immediate area.
