Motorcyclist flies off Austin overpass
Ejected after hitting concrete barrier

AUSTIN (KXAN) - An Austin motorcyclist is in critical condition after he flew off of the U.S. Highway 183 overpass Thursday night.
Police said it happened at 10:52 p.m. Thursday when he was going northbound and hit a concrete barrier, ejecting him off the upper level of 183 and onto North Lamar Boulevard.
A couple of other riders were with him when it happened, but they were not hurt.
The injured motorcyclist is at University Medical Center Brackenridge.
