TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Do you remember going on your first date and how nervous you were? Well, imagine going on about 20 dates in one night. Seems Impossible right? Well, it's being done.
A new trend is picking up speed in the Wabash Valley. It's quick. It's fast. It's called speed dating, and it's happening at The Landing in Terre Haute.
You only have five minutes with each person before you move on to the next.
"I thought it's a nice way to meet somebody without a lot of pressure put on you," speed dater Steve said.
The rules are to have fun, ask questions, and find interests. It's a new way for people to meet their match by speeding up those awkward first dates. Around 30 people showed up for the speed dating event.
The next event takes place on Jan. 21.
