TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Santa Clause arrived in style at the Meadows Shopping Center
this afternoon. A LifeLine medical helicopter flew Santa in from
the North Pole.
He arrived as a crowd of hundreds anxiously waited for a
chance to stand in line and let the jolly old elf know what they'd
like to see under the Christmas tree this year.
At the same time, Santa and his helpers are trying to prevent the flu by using hand sanitizer. Also, Santa has stopped wearing gloves because they actually increase the amount of germs.
Despite flu preparation, some parents are not allowing their kids to sit on Santa's lap.
"It wasn't worth it to get sick and go stand with a bunch of people and sit on Santa's lap," said concerned mom Melissa Griffin.
