TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - It's an art show featuring a new use of old materials.

Ivy Tech Community College in Terre Haute hosts its third annual Recycled Art Show Amateurs, professionals and high school students from the community were invited to submit art made out of recycled materials.

The show is sponsored by Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at Ivy Tech.

Their hope is to show the importance of recycling in a fun and creative way.

"They take an immense amount of work," Ivy Tech instructor Karen Page said. "If you look at some of the projects, they have a lot of detail in them, little minute things that just set them apart sometimes from something else."
