Wheelmen ride through the Wabash Valley

WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - The Wheelmen are a group of bicycle enthusiasts who celebrate the history of cycling. This year, they held their national convention at St. Mary of the Woods College from July 8 to 12.

The biggest event of the week is "The Century Ride", a grueling 100 mile journey. Cyclists from all over the country participated, many of them riding high-wheel bicycles. The trip took them from Vigo County to Oakland, Ill. and back.
