WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A general store takes some big steps to help kids in need.

Casey's General Store in West Terre Haute is currently holding a silent auction.

All the proceeds go to benefit Saint Jude's Children's Hospitals.

It's part of national effort to raise money for the hospital.

Everything from clothes to bikes are on auction at the store.

Organizers said the auction is a unique way for the community to help out a wonderful cause.

"It makes me feel great. I'm so proud of my cashiers because they've really worked hard," Ruthann Ward said. "I can just tell by looking at them that they feel good about it too that maybe a little bit of money is going to help maybe one child. "

If you'd like to donate the auction continues through the week.
