VINCENNES, Ind. (WTHI) - After spending the entire fall semester fighting the H1N1 flu, a southern Indiana college began vaccinations.
Students lined up to get a limited supply of flu shots on campus at Vincennes University. The college has had 45 cases of type A influenza this fall, which was most likely the H1N1 virus.
The first flu shot clinic though could only serve 100 students because that was all of the vaccine that was available.
"There's already several cases where people had swine flu and I can get sick kind of easily sometimes, so I wanted to get it," VU student Rebecca Rosenblatt said.
"We would have liked to have a greater supply sooner, but then I think that's common nationwide," VU student health coordinator Peggy Milligan said.
VU officials said they will have another immunization clinic when more vaccine becomes available.
