VINCENNES, Ind. (WTHI) - A southern Indiana county awards a contract to renovate an old jail.
Officials in Knox County are ready to take the next step with the old county jail.
The Knox County Commissioners have accepted a bid to carry out the work to convert the old jail into a work release center for Wabash Valley Community Corrections.
Wolfe Construction of Vincennes will receive the $625,000 contract.
The company is expected to begin work soon and finish the
project in 160 days.
