Vigo Co. company plans to create jobs

VIGO COUNTY, Ind (WTHI) - A local company is expanding with hopes of adding dozens of new jobs.

Green Leaf is a company that makes fittings and sprayer accessories for agriculture and industrial markets.

On Tuesday, Green Leaf announced that it is expanding. Green Leaf plans on creating 34 new jobs by 2012.

The Vigo County company plans on investing more than $1.4 million to construct a 26,000-foot addition onto their business.

"My dad started the business in 1979 he is the sole owner including my mother. Dad retired five years ago this February. I have taken over the position as president and run the company," President of Green Leaf Pete Goda said/

Green Leaf currently employs around 60 workers.
