Local high school makes donation

WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Athletes at West Vigo High School presented the West Vigo Community Center with a $900 donation Thursday.

Athletes from the basketball, softball, volleyball, football and golf teams, as well as folks in the athletic department, raised the funds throughout the school year.

Folks at the community center said they're very proud of these star students.

"It's a wonderful thing that we're all coming together and supporting the community center," Teresa Harrington of the West Vigo Community Center said.

The money donated will help the community center purchase new lighting in its gym.
