Area businesses honored by governor

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Governor Mitch Daniels honors seven Vigo County businesses for their longevity and community service.

The ceremony took place during the annual Governor's Century and Half-Century Business Awards in the Statehouse.

The governor presented Century Awards to Callahan and Hughes Funeral Home, Forsyth Brothers Concrete Products Incorporated, and Wilkinson, Goeller, Modesitt, Wilkinson and Drummy L.L.P Law Firm.

Companies receiving Half Century Awards were Koenig Scale Company Incorporated, Novelis Corporation, Poplar Flower Shop Incorporated, and Williams and Associates.
