TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A trial date was set Tuesday for Mark Brighton.
Brighton, 51, is the son of former Terre Haute mayor William Brighton. He was arrested last Wednesday after after neighbors reported explosives and gun fire at his home near Seelyville.
Police found rifles and hand guns, as well as marijuana, methamphetamine and around $60,000 in cash at Brighton's home.
Tuesday he was formally charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and dealing marijuana.
He trial is scheduled for March 1.
Brighton remains in the Vigo County jail on $35,000 bond with no 10 percent allowed, but his bond is under advisement.
