Trial set for drive-by shooting suspect

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A trial date has been set for man accused in a drive-by shooting.

Twenty-nine-year-old James Paauwe is charged with multiple counts of criminal recklessness.

Police said Paauwe fired shots into a home on the south end of Terre Haute. One of the bullets hit a crib where a nine-month-old baby was sleeping.

Paauwe requested a speedy trial. A judge has set the date for August 4.
