Terre Haute home burns

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A house fire started around 8:00 Tuesday night at a Terre Haute home located at 1520 2nd Avenue.
There is no word yet as to the cause of the fire, but witnesses at the scene say they saw flames coming from the attic of the home.
The fire did eventually burn through the roof.
Luckily the entire family, including the family dog, was able to make it out safely.
Both Terre Haute and Sugar Creek Fire Departments responded to the call.
