TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Terre Haute police say Ebb and Heather Howard could have been robbing storage units in Vigo County for nearly a year.

When police arrived at their Terre Haute home on 25th Street Thursday, they discovered everything needed to furnish a home and then some.

Police removed everything from furniture and collectibles to items used to make meth. On Friday officers sorted through it all, working to get it back to its owners.

"Between 30 and 50 burglaries," Assistant Police Chief Shawn Keen said. "But when you consider that it's taken out of a storage unit, a lot of things can be held in just one storage unit. A lot of items can be taken. It's probably the most we've ever recovered in one setting."

Chief Keen said the Terre Haute Police Department would like to hear from folks who have had items stolen from the following storage units in Vigo County:

East Haythorne Self Storage on Haythorne Ave.
Evergreen Storage on Springhill Dr.
Springhill Mini-Warehouses on Springhill Dr.
Storage Solutions on Spring Clean Ave. and SR 63
The Storage Center on SR 46
You-Store-It on S. 14th 1/2 St.

If you've had items stolen from any of these storage units from December 2008 through now, you're urged to call the Terre Haute Police Department at 238-1661.
